10 years Westerplas Flock
On March 10 we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our Westerplas Flock. For the occasion some Herdwick breeders from the Lake District crossed the Channel. Jean Wilson (Dockray), Mary Bell (Crookabeck), Liz Mc Kinney (Fenwick), Mayson Weir (Dowthwaite Head), Alan Edmondson (Seathwaite) and Tom Postlethwaite (Hard Rigg) were present. It was a splendid day with Herdwick breeders from Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Austria. Also our loyal sponsors of the Westerplas project enjoyed the day.
